We would appreciate it if the committee could provide advance notice of any planned noise disturbances to help residents plan their schedules particularly those working from home. Thank-you.

]]><![CDATA[Council Request Permits]]>Thu, 02 Jul 2026 07:04:22 GMThttps://www.moonbria.com.au/community-board/council-request-permitsMoonbria is scheduling "street-line-to-building" mains cable electrical upgrades 29th July 2026 that will affect the building’s exterior appearance. The works will primarily impact our existing 1940s electrical switch box, located on the south wall overlooking the laneway, and affixing a visible electrical conduit on Moonbria’s Northern face.
The City of Stonnington requires the committee to submit plans and obtain a planning permit before any work can begin. Under Stonnington’s strict Heritage Overlay, any external alterations visible from the street—including mailboxes, air conditioning compressors, cables & period electrical boxes—require council approval to ensure Moonbria preserves its original historical character. ]]><![CDATA[Plant Adorned Moonbria]]>Mon, 29 Jun 2026 14:00:00 GMThttps://www.moonbria.com.au/community-board/plants-adorn-moonbria

]]><![CDATA[Record Off-Market Sale]]>Tue, 17 Mar 2026 08:35:58 GMThttps://www.moonbria.com.au/community-board/off-market-recordA highly prized front of the building top floor one bedroom apartment (unit 9) with a full width private balcony and a private lock up garage on title, has recently sold off market for a record price of $510,000.

One bedroom units sell in Moonbria between $441,000 AUD (back of the building with no balcony) to between $485,000 AUD - $525,000 AUD for the highly collectible front of building units fronting Mathoura road and located either side of Roy’s infamous circular staircase tower.

Want the buying hack?

Only six of Moonbria’s 21 units enjoy tree lined Mathoura road. They are units 1,2,3,9, 10 & 16. Of those units only four units 1,2,3,& 9 have BOTH the highly coveted lock up garages (on title) AND full width private balconies.

We colloquially like to call these units the ‘Collectible Four’.

If you are wanting to own and live in our magnificent Moonbria then one of these four blue chip apartments are unquestionably the best apartments in Moonbria to happily reside in.
