Today ‘Moonbria’ residents approve & install upgraded security throughout; including ID facial recognition,, digital fobs, remote entry access, all at the foyer entrance door; with motion sensor lights and updated surveillance throughout the building.  It just provides residents and guests that extra  peace of mind and easier access to  this iconic building; whilst adapting to the ever changing world that now surrounds us all. A welcome touch. 

Over the years we’ve had a lot of enquires from students or potential buyers enquiring as to whether Moonbria has fireplaces. Well we can confirm that Mr Grounds designed all 21 apartments with feature fireplaces. Some of them work, others have been blocked off at the chimney stack level back in 2017. Many owners have retro fitted the original fireplaces with electrical units that mimic a fire, either way Mr Grounds original designs along with an original bath are a nod back to his family’s UK origins. In the cooler winter months there is nothing better than a sitting by the fire after a warm bath. So yes, that is a fireplace and all units had them originally so it’s best to check and test before you buy.

Unit 10 a studio apartment at the front of the building, has just been leased at $420 per week. 
Apartments with private balconies are the most sought after and achieve the highest rental premiums, those with lock up garages even greater returns. Amber at Hedley Agents in High street put it all together. 

Moonbria welcomes our 12th owner occupier to our wonderful building. Moonbria’s owner-occupancy rate has tripled from just 20% in 2012 to  over 60% today! Welcome Suzanne! Happy Christmas :)
