Reminds me of the great Peter Browns ground breaking ‘de-constructive’ interior design work commissioned by the then Checkpoint Charlie’s nightclub in the late 1980’s; not sure it’s applicable on this Roy Ground site as it reads (to me at the very least) of ‘historicism’ which objectively speaking, this standalone building doesn’t need as its a masterpiece in its own right. Keep in mind that some onlookers may read it as just plain unfinished or needs repainting, which could distract on your overall Roy Grounds design aesthetic. Not sure if this was collectively the owners aim, or if it was commissioned to be like this? Just a thought 🤔 ;)

Moonbria, a beautiful, historical building, designed by the renown architect Roy Grounds, will be presented properly again when the brick front fence is freshly painted.

Hello Rowena, thanks for the invite. We strolled past last night on our evening doggie walk with Charlie, and had a good sticky beak, it’s really renewed your buildings’ street appeal! Keep up the good work on the website, we enjoy learning about this much admired neighbourhood icon. 9/8/2022 11:08:39
Thank you for allowing us to work at this amazing property. The new fresh white fence and walls look great and we hope do credit to such an historical and innovative building for its time. Thank you to the residents to who were all very welcoming us.
