I can't believe this was designed in 1941!
My mum used to live in this building in the 70's then we moved to Gordon Street.
It looks so much better now then before.:)

Definitely cannot believe this was built in the 40's!! Lovely lines and curves. Keen to see it in person though.

Such a gem! There really needs to be a proper retrospective on Grounds' work - and Moonbria should feature prominently.

What is it?
Unit 17 is a super cosy one bedroom top floor that is currently for lease.

Why we like it.
The top floor has a distinct "Art Deco cruise liner" feel with it's slim steel common area support pillars and it's white wood-paneled roof.
It's very cool.

Oh and...
